Columbines are Colorado’s state flower. They usually grow in singles so I thought it was neat to see a whole bouquet of them. This was up in McCullough Gulch behind Breckenridge. It’s one of the most gorgeous hikes I’ve ever done and we didn’t even make it to the “Pot O Gold”(there’s an alpine lake at the top) because a hail storm scared the crap out of us and sent us packing.
